![]() If it helps at all, Morpheus has a history of including *marketing add-ons* with their downloadable software, so this isn't something special added for GOTD - it's just the normal way the company works. Ok thumbs down for oh so many reasons but none are how the program functions when it is not crippled by their deceptive practices. BTW as a follow up to the fully functional trial, it only allowed 3 renders before it shut down the rendering function pending activation, and once activated although it was set to ccreate sww by default whilst a trial, the file extension was still available during render file name dialog but it complained that it was trying to use a feature that was not avaialble ie swf rendering was internally disabled in the lite version even if you managed to fool it into offering the option. I hope it is just morpheus software trying yet another way to screw money out of people and not GAOTD deliberatly asking for and paying for the $9.95 license and knowingly marketing it as the full $29.95 standard edition license. It turns out that the price of the lite license which is what GAOTD team have been sold is only $9.95 not the $29.95 that they have been told. (the report at the below link also identifies Premier Opinion as a keylogger) Just a few of many malware database reports on premium opinion and smart shopper. I think it's unethical and WRONG to be including adware/spyware/malware/keyloggers in a paid program whose purpose is totally unrelated! While it's true that you are given the choice to not install it, the installer also is designed so that the fact that these two programs are malware/adware/spyware, is not mentioned, the default is for accepting them, and the developer tries to make the identities of these two malware as inconspicuous as possible so that they look like part of the main program install process. Today's Giveaway looks really cool but I do think it's a shame that the developer lowered themselves to bundling malware with it.
